Not Forgotten Poem

There are so many moments where you could not experience life.

Chances missed because fate said no.

Plans canceled or put on hold indefinitely.

I know how it makes your heart hurt.

The good moments are such an anchor.

Keeping you grounded as long as you can look forward to something.

A landmark that guides you down a better path.

Those moments replaced by the bad feels like being cut loose.

Set adrift like a balloon on the wind.

Be at peace though, for every experience is delayed but not forgotten.

There is the one who keeps score and sees all.

All is recorded.

Added to the pile like a dragon’s treasure trove.

Saved specially for you.

Set aside for the life after this.

Where there is no more chaos and pain.

The plan in effect until the end.

Delayed but not forgotten.
