Hair Cut Poem

I cut my hair to let it flow.

Let the change take hold.

Let the inside come out.

The ideas rain like the fallen strands.

Shiny and sometimes golden.

But never discarded.

***

I cut my hair to let it break out.

The feelings that overwhelm.

Clawing at my inner brain.

An animal that I care for,

But is never truly tamed.

Returning after it has time to rest.

***

I cut my hair to let it take shape.

Let my inner self take form.

Let my body be closer in essence to my mind.

Granting both control and freedom at once.

Shaping the complexity of my character.

As many dimensions as the hairs scattered on the ground.
