I know him by many names.

The Cruel One, Withholder of Love, and The Lazy Struck.

But there is only one title that describes him fully.

For he is The Promise Breaker.

The one that does not care about feelings.

Both things that could and could not happen.

I was made to choke on hope.

Expected to live in that state.
