You know, it’s a good thing that humans struggle to let go. As soon as any amount of energy is put forth, the struggle becomes personal. I don’t think I would have made it a quarter of the way through this life of trials without it. Teaching me to persist against all odds.

Some people do not know how to benefit from a sunk cost fallacy. Instead they whittle it away at a casino or in a relationship that will never love them back.  Love and effort are so intertwined however, people can get confused. The heart can feel what the brain does not. Not realizing that the effort should go both ways.

No, that kind of stubbornness should be used to get you through the darkest times. Remembrance of all the previous challenges already past when the future appears empty. Only then can a sunk cost fallacy benefit you.
