Third Tumor Out

To start off, I’m writing this while high as a kite if that tells you how things are going.
I have an unfortunate sensitivity to the female hormone. It causes my body to go nuts and create non cancerous tumors like a tumor factory. It also probably has a genetic element since my aunt on my dads side has the same condition. I apparently like collecting genetic conditions like Pokemon.
I have had two tumors removed previously. One while under general anesthesia and the second awake and just under a local. I do not remove every single tumor but wait until they get too big or grow in a location that causes pain consistently. I got my third tumor removed today under local anesthesia. It had been causing me pain for a good while and I wanted it gone.
The typical length of this kind of surgery is 20 mins. Today lasted closer to an hour. The tumor was much deeper than expected and fibrous. Took many shots of lidocane and cutting to take out. The surgery itself was not very painful. Just nerve wracking. Lots of pressure and the smell of burning flesh during cauterization. I sat there clammy and slightly shaky the entire time from the fight, flight or freeze response. My go to is usually freeze.
The first red flag probably should have been when the doctor said “We don’t usually do ones this deep here.” and the second red flag was when it still didn’t hurt two hours later. Shock is a hell of a drug for the body.
Pain built and built. My mother then noticed that I had a huge patch of fresh blood on my shirt. Turns out that deep structure damage to the breast can cause blood to leak into the ducts. My nipple was leaking blood.
I ended up taking opioids and applying further bandages. I hope to God I will not have further issues.
