Raccoons And Lawn Rolls Poem

Getting a project done is such a process.

Starting from its conception careful steps have to be taken if you care about the outcome.

For example, to design a new yard, you need a detailed plan.

Every line has to be exact and every plant placement carefully chosen.

Pipes and wiring laid out like a healthy artery system.

All put exactly in its own set place.

***

Then comes the action.

The backbreaking work that makes it a reality.

Slow feeling and tough.

Trying to get everything done exactly as it should.

Handling unknown variables as they come one at a time.

Striving for the perfect outcome.

***

Unfortunately not everyone else is looking forward to the end for the same reason.

Raccoons rolling up freshly laid grass like a carpet to look for bugs underneath.

Opportunistic and looking for a separate kind of joy.

Ruining the careful handed work.

Remember to take an extra step after the project is done.

Lay traps for those raccoons so you don’t end up with lawn rolls.
